Virtual Development Team
What is a Virtual Development Team An NHZ Global Virtual Development Team (VDT) consists of a tem leader and three or more software developers, engineers, architects, Quality Assurance personnel and technical writers, who have been chosen for their individual skills and experience relevant to the customer's specific development requirements. The composition of the team can be changed over time to reflect changes in the type of work required.
Most importantly; each team member only works in one team and each team only works for one client. This enables an NHZ Global team to build up a level of knowledge and expertise on the Client's applications that simply cannot be matched by other organisations.
How it works
The project manager is responsible for:
- Liaising with the client
- Team recruitment/work allocation
- Producing and agreeing development plans and detailed specifications including testing procedures
- Day to day team management
- Quality assurance
- Full system and testing documentation
- Weekly and monthly reporting
- Problem handling and resolution
- Teams have core expertise in Microsoft.net/Java including C++, C#, Silverlight, DirectX and Ajax, with other skill sets added as required
- There is full backup and data encryption to protect WIP and IP
- Teams have access to senior in-house and external technical personnel to resolve complex design issues
- Minimum contract is for one year with a three month initial trial period
- Client visits are welcome, in fact we encourage our clients to visit "their team" at least once a year
